Our new opening hours are now available

Exciting news! Our new staffed opening hours are now available and can now be viewed on our website.

The Hive will be open seven days a week from 8.30am to 10pm, during which time visitors can freely access all of our self-service resources; our extensive Local Studies and Archaeology Library and our catalogues and indexes. For users who want to access original archives, you must visit during our staffed opening hours, which are a little different to The Hive opening hours. The full details of our opening hours, those of the Historic Environment Service and The Hive are as follows:

A member of Archive Service staff will be on hand on Sundays, between the hours of 11.00 and 16.00, to advise on the collections we hold and to help you find your way around our self-service resources. Please note users will be unable to access original archives on Sundays.

Historic Environment Record
The Historic Environment Record will be staffed on an appointment basis, operating in the hours detailed in the table above.  To make an appointment with the HER team please call 01905 822866 or email archaeology@worcestershire.gov.uk.

Don't forget, we open for the first time on Monday 2nd July. We are anticipating a lot of users in the first few days, and we look forward to finding out what you all think of our new home.
