Hazel joined Worcestershire Archaeology in 2018 as a trainee after a long career as a classical musician and instrumental teacher. Part-time undergraduate study at the University of Worcester and a Masters in Applied Landscape Archaeology from Oxford paved the way for a career change and she now enjoys working on sites from all periods, but has a particular fascination with all things Roman.
