New ‘What’s On 2020’

  • 21st January 2020

Our new events guide for 2020 is now out!

Details can also be found here on website at www.explorethepast.co.uk/events along with links for bookings.

We’re repeating many of our popular workshops, helping people start their research or to expand and introduce new sources.

Following the success of the Reading Latin in Old Documents workshop we are running one on Parish Records – as before this focuses on applying Latin to the documents rather than teaching Latin. We are also running an introductory session on palaeography, focusing on reading Secretary Hand.

We are also running some sessions 3rd and 4th April to discuss potential projects with local groups, giving an opportunity to talk about plans, sources we have which might help, suggestions based on our experiences, and ways we could help.

The leaflet is below or you can download here WAAS events 2020
